Shamelessly happy @San Carlo Cicchetti, London Piccadilly

As we were marching towards San Carlo's across Leicester Square and Piccadilly, the post-pandemic crowd filled the West End with some sort of mysterious energy which I could only describe as the joy of being alive. It was Saturday evening in London and everybody was shamelessly happy.

San Carlo is my favourite Italian restaurant in London. They serve small Italian dishes to share, so we decided to order the holly trinity of Spaghetti Carbonara, Truffle and Pecorino Ravioli and Cacio e Pepe with a glass of white and red wine. The freshness of the pasta mixed with the smooth creamy texture is something I can't get enough of. I could eat these dishes all day, every day till the end of my days and I'd still ask for more.
